The Michael J. Welch, CLU, ChFC State Farm office opened in 2017 to serve customers in Roseville and surrounding Placer County with their insurance and financial service needs. Michael J. Welch, CLU, ChFC began his career in the insurance and financial services industry after graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 2005 with a degree in Business Finance. With more than 15 years of award-winning experience in the industry, Michael firmly believes that knowledge is the key to a successful financial future. In 2009 Michael successfully earned the prestigious CLU and ChFC designations. The CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation is the undisputed professional credential for persons involved in the protection, accumulation, preservation and distribution of the economic values of human life. The ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation focuses on the organized way to collect and analyze information on a customer's financial situation; to help customers identify and establish specific financial goals and to introduce the most appropriate products to help meet those goals. The ChFC program provides financial professionals with in-depth knowledge of the skills needed to perform needs analysis for their customers. Through personal commitment, professional associations, accreditations and continuing education, Michael has worked tirelessly to establish the reputation as a respected professional, while gaining the trust of his customers.

Michael is a member of the SEPC (Sacramento Estate Council) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). The Sacramento Estate Council is an interdisciplinary group of professionals who help customers with wealth management and transfer issues. For over 60 years, the council has provided a forum for members in several professional categories to learn about estate administration in a collegial environment. The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is a nonprofit group that works on behalf of its members to promote a favorable regulative environment, provides professional educational services and ensures ethical professional conduct for insurance and financial professionals. Michael proudly served as a board member of the Northern California Chapter of NAIFA in 2016.

Michael resides in Carmichael, CA with his wife Tanya and his three boys, Nikita, Maxwell and Marcus. Michael is passionate about leading an active lifestyle and is dedicated to his family.
